As an educator, I believe that it is my job to inspire my students to achieve the highest level of excellence they can reach. Not all children are the same and the education they are given must be on an appropriate level for them to acquire the knowledge. I do not want a child to become discouraged and doubt himself or herself as a learner. I adjust my lessons according to each child’s Individualized Educational Plan goals and the Common Core State Standards so they can learn the New York State curriculum while being given modifications to suit each individual.

I believe that my thirst for knowledge and ambition fuel my passion of becoming a well-rounded educator. I strive to give all of my students the ability to communicate and learn to the best of their ability so they can achieve their dreams as well. Whether at Peekskill or later in life, knowledge is power, and when you obtain that power, “you improve the quality of every part of your life.”

On a personal note, I am a proud mommy and I love spending time with my family (which includes my cats).  I like to ride my spin bike, cook in my kitchen and my favorite book growing up was "The Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing" by Judy Blume.
