I would like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Louise Oteiza. I am a graduate of St. John's University and the College of New Rochelle. I am permanently certified in Pre K-6, Teaching English as a Second Language, and have a bilingual extension in Spanish. I started teaching in 1994 as a bilingual teacher and have been teaching in the Peekskill city school district since 2002.  Throughout my career I have taught Kindergarten through fifth grade in both English and Spanish.I have also been in the dual language program since its inception in 2003. At home, I have three children and understand the importance of both roles being a teacher and a mother. With this experience all of us at Woodside will work hard to keep your child safe and loved. I am looking forward to working with your child this year and helping him/her to achieve his/her full potential.
